Metallic Madness

Right now we are crushing on metallics - they were all over the runways and now they are making their way onto paper - thanks to all the beautiful foiling we've been seeing in the stationery world.

In our opinion - It is hard to go wrong with a touch of metallic.  It adds just the right amount of sparkle (because we all know how easy it is to go overboard - remember the bedazzler?!)  Include metallic anywhere  from your shoes, to your nails, the bag you carry, or the jewelry that you wear!

OPI "Glitzerland".
I like the idea of an accent nail in gold, but if you are feeling bold go all gold!

In decorating, metallic colors are seen everywhere!  An unexpected pillow, the vase on your mantel, and, the ever-sparkly, chandelier hanging from your ceiling.

These are adorable!  I would take any of them in my house.

Can you believe someone redid this themselves?!
Before and After

We have just gotten the foil samples from  Bella Figura and Smock Paper, and we are just drooling!  Bella Figura is our newest line of paper and it is exclusive to Fresh Ink.  We love all of their fun, innovative, and metallic invitations!!  They provide the perfect balance between classic and contemporary.

Smock.  It is simple and clean, but the gold gives it that little something extra!

Bella Figura.  I love the script used for the names!

Bella Figura.  My favorite part about this option is how classic the invitation is, but the silver detailing adds so much.

Couldn't you just die?  If you want to make a metallic the color of your wedding this is a great place to start!  Take a closer look at these on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at our Bella Figura debut party with Champagne and Confections at the store from 10 am to 6 pm!
