Summerhouse Event with Suzanne Kasler

I was initially a little star-struck going into a design meeting with Lisa Palmer. After all, she single-handedly brought about the renaissance of clean and modern design in the Jackson area, and her visionary 10,000 square foot lifestyle store in the affluent Ridgeland suburb is a beautiful shrine to her signature style.  The moment was amplified when she told me she needed to design an invitation for a glamorous drinks-and-dessert party where her top clientele could meet and greet acclaimed interior designer Suzanne Kasler in the home of one of Lisa's friends and favorite clients.

In discussing some of the on-trend colors that her guest, Suzanne Kasler, was using, we kept circling back to a need for a little bit of a blush color in the project. When Lisa opened a sample with a tailored gold pin-dot foil envelope liner we knew that was a must-have element, too. We then created a letterpress and foil invitation, with the gold pin-dot liner, to be mailed in the palest blush luxe envelope. Contemporary "calligraphy" printing on the front of the envelope was the finishing detail.  Linen-like disposable napkins with the summerhouse logo in gold foil carried the sparkle through the evening as guests nibbled delightful desserts, sipped bubbles, and laughed with mrs kasler under the most beautiful star-filled Mississippi night sky.

As they exited the party, guests found summerhouse logo frosted cups in their swag bags along side copies of Suzanne's book, milieu magazine, and the scout guide JACKSON - all co-hosts for the magical design-filled evening.
